Blasted Scale!!
This time around it seems harder. Last year, I was consistently losing weight every week , this time around I’m just maintaining. The scale has not budge in 3 weeks! Yet my legs are becoming defined and my tummy is going down, isn’t this supposed to happen near goal?….So back to recording everything that I eat…sometimes 2 workouts in a day..although I’m a bit frustrated, I’m not pissed off yet, since I believe that there are things that I need to change still about my eating habits …However, I’ve been following some of the Heartbreakers, WOW, these ladies are pulling out big numbers…in addition my boyfriend has hit the 200 mark …I’m happy for them but wondering where I’m going wrong ….but,I’m on the weight watchers Flex Plan and I joined last Thursday, so we shall see if we get result on this ….Take care everyone …time to do some cleaning!
Hey there. I was having the hardest time losing any weight. I was going to the gym 7 days a week, exercising for 1 1/2 hours and the scale still wouldn’t budge. Then a friend told me she had learned of a way to burn more calories durring work outs. She said if you exercise on a empty tummy, say 3 hours after a meal or before breakfast, you will burn more calories because your insulan levels will be down. She also said to only eat 3 meals a day with no snacks in between, (not even pop or other calorie beverages). So, just 3 bigger meals! I tried this for a week and have already lost 5 lbs. I hadn’t lost in so long. It works! Hope this helps!
I joined weight watchers too but I can’t do the flex plan cuz I need accountability. If you can feel a difference in your clothes and not the scale, then you really need to take measurements. Muscle weighs more then fat and sometimes when we wotkout the muscle grows while the fat shrinks and the scale does not move so take your measurments. Really try it!!!
I know how you feel, every time I get stuck and cant get those scales to move I just want to give up. But we just have to keep plugging along one day at a time and it will happen! -Dee
